Priority Message Service Frequently Asked Questions:
How Does This Work?
Due to the high volume of questions I receive for Ask Dr. NerdLove, it’s simply not possible for me to answer all of them. Unfortunately, that means sometimes important questions may go unanswered. This occasionally includes questions that may need an immediate response, may be of a sensitive nature or involve details that may identify the letter writer, and they would prefer to not have their question published on the blog or Kotaku.
But this doesn’t mean that you are being ignored. If you have a question that you need an immediate, guaranteed answer, then this is the option for you. Think of this as the emergency lane for dating advice questions. You will get a reply to your question within 24 hours – your own private Ask Dr. NerdLove column.
How Much Does This Cost?
Each priority message costs $50. For this you get a detailed answer to your question – the same as questions submitted for publication would get.
What Topics Do You Cover?
This is a good way to get an answer to specific problems that you’re having with your love life.
- What do I do about this problem I’m having with my partner?
- How do I ask out this person I’m interested in?
- Where do I go to meet women?
- Why am I running into these sticking points when it comes to dating
- How do I handle being rejected?
…and many more.
If you want a more in-depth conversation, help developing your personal dating strategy or have an issue that requires a more detailed discussion, you may want to consider scheduling a coaching session.
Just remember: Dr. NerdLove is not a real doctor. This is dating advice and coaching, not therapy.
I Have A Follow-Up Question. Is That Allowed?
A quick follow-up to clarify things is totally fine. If you have a more detailed question, then it may be more cost-effective to consider booking a Skype session. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask and I’ll let you know.
