It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for the Doc to slip out to jam with his power-metal band Inhumanoids1 . Meanwhile the NerdLove interns and residents take over the comments section for their own nefarious purposes! This week’s suggested topic:
Let’s talk music. And more than just music, let’s talk about songs being done in new and utterly unexpected ways. Whether it’s Postmodern Jukebox’s jazz version of “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, Richard Cheese’s lounge cover of “Down With the Sickness”, Disturbed’s shockingly great version of “The Sounds of Silence” or a mariachi cover of some of the sounds of your childhood, post your favorites in the comments. Bonus points for including Youtube links so we can experience it ourselves.
(Oh, and a heads up: if you’re in the North Carolina area, come see me at Hero’s Con in Charlotte, June 17 – June 19! More details next week)
You know the rules. No hate, no spam, no trolling. Have fun!
